NIGHT ANGEL SERVICE

My name is Vincent,  I work as a case manager for a midsize caregiving company, A state Licensed HCO, home care organization.  I still work doing this now, we take care of those that need everything from 4-24 hour care.  We offer care drivers for trips to go shopping and doctor appointments, we help with appointments to do showers and baths and we do all the regular caregiving.  All of these things are great, but back in November of 2024, one of our clients, a very strong willed, spunky, creative, pillar of the community that had very large ties to her community, 9 kids, to many grand kids, a church group, and other friends that she would have weekly meals with fell.  She was so strong but had moments of weakness from time to time.  She fell, sometime after her 4 hour 2x per week help and before our caregiver got back the next day, she fell.  In my very simple research I found that almost over 150,000 people fall per year and of those almost 80,000 people pass, and over 10,000 are left with injuries that make it harder to do their daily routine and live life the way they want to.

We started NIGHT ANGEL, as a simple service, to not only allow people to have extra eyes on them at night but also so they would not be alone and would be able to take away fears and help with the what ifs.  Families like us because those extra eyes help to alleviate the stress that loved ones have with older parents.  We have also added it on to the services of our clients that only use us for limited times so we can help when help is needed.
